The 1-day expected move band

The expected move is the range the options market is pricing for the day. It locks shortly after the open, anchors to the prior close, and never tracks live price, because a band that chased spot couldn't be traded against.

Before the first lock of the morning it's blank, which is why a pre-market load shows no band yet.
